Chemistry Tutor: Is it Worth It?
Chemistry Tutor: Is it Worth It?When I first became interested in science, I began going to a local college and used to tutor around me. I wanted to help other students with their chemistry or biology. Unfortunately, I found that I was not the most brilliant or well rounded of people. I was still fascinated by chemistry and was able to teach myself and get the students excited to take the test. This led me to learn more about chemistry so that I could use my tutoring to help the students. I eventually learned how to teach myself and have been doing this for over ten years now. One of the best things that I found was the preparation guides that were available. I learned from all of these resources and began to be able to improve my performance in chemistry.I remember my first day teaching as a good chemistry tutor. I have to say that the first two weeks were very difficult and I was struggling to get the students to sit and listen to me. However, I was starting to see the effect that i t was having on the students.I used to tell the students that there were chemical elements and they should familiarize themselves with these elements. This was something that I knew. The students that were very interested in the subject were still interested in the subjects that I was tutoring. I had to continue to prove to them that I could help them become teachers themselves.I also started to realize that chemistry was not about being able to memorize the elements. It was about becoming able to draw something from a chemical form and learn how to use it. This is something that many different people can do that has little to do with the elements themselves.I also found that I had to be patient with the students. They were not going to be able to master the subject in a day. They needed a little bit of time to become a better teacher. My time was precious, so I was not going to be able to go through all of the trouble that I had to go through. One of the great things that I learned was to use all of my time to prepare. This meant that I had to do whatever it took to help the students become better teachers.
